Rev Fr Dr. Joseph Kim visits the Divine Mercy Shrine in Kabuga, Rwanda
Greetings from The Divine Mercy Shrine in Kabuga, Rwanda. It’s been a spiritually moving experience during my visits to various places and praying while offering personal intentions as well as of all the people dear to me. I was impressed to find various people fully absorbed in prayer in various chapels around the Shrine.
The above chapels and sites drew my attention so much that they left an indelible mark in my heart and soul: the Chapel of Nativity at Bethlem (where Divine Mercy shows a human face!), the garden of Getsemany, the Way of the Cross, the chapel of the Tomb of Christ and the Resurrection Chapel. At the end of the spiritual tour of the Divine Mercy Shrine, my prayer was to ask the all-Merciful God to have mercy on me and if possible to help Malawi to have something of this type where people can go and reflect different episodes of God’s Abundant Mercy.
I know it would require a lot of money. But we shall never do enough for God on this earth. Moreover, in some cases, a lot of money is spent on worldly things rather than what can enhance people’s spiritual lives and prepare them for eternal life. I thank God for bringing me here and enriching my knowledge of His DIVINE MERCY!!
